Matthew R. Crow joined Mercer Capital in 1994. As president of the firm and a member of the board of directors, Mr. Crow oversees day-to-day operations of the firm.
Mr. Crow is a senior member of Mercer Capital's Financial Reporting Valuation Group, which provides opinions and related consulting for compliance with ASC 718, ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 360, and ASC 820, among others. In addition, Mr. Crow is active in the Company's corporate valuation practice in the context of corporate planning and reorganization, transactions, employee stock ownership plans, and tax issues.
Mr. Crow is active in valuation related to asset management firms and telecommunications enterprises. In addition, Mr. Crow has broad industry experience in agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, and technology companies accumulated by working with hundreds of client companies during his tenure at Mercer Capital.
Mr. Crow recently co-authored the book, Valuation for Impairment Testing, Second Edition (Peabody Publishing, LP, 2010). Mr. Crow serves as a course developer for the American Society of Appraisers BV302 course on Advanced Topics in the Valuation of Intangible Assets.
